My mom’s family moved to the United States from Lebanon in 1983.
1983 – 1985
They spent two years in San Jose.
Maricopa
Then they moved to Maricopa and bought some farmland, all of them living together in an RV.
Bakersfield
A few years later, my mom made them move to an apartment in Bakersfield.
1993
In 1993 they bought a house in Bakersfield together: my grandmother’s house.
1997
My dad came to the United States in 1997.
